Snowberry is a thicket-forming shrub with small flowers followed by distinctive white berries. It is best naturalized in a woodland garden where it provides food and cover for wildlife. May go dormant in summer without water, occasional summer water will keep it fresh. Birds eat the berries. Good under oaks. This selection is from San Bruno Mountain.
