Monkeyflowers are colorful nectar plants. The flowers vary from red to pale yellow; the blooms of this selection are creamy yellow. Needs good drainage. Grow on banks or among chaparral shrubs. May lose some leaves during the summer when it can be lightly cut back. Monkeyflower becomes woody with age and may not live long under normal garden conditions.
