A member of the Sunflower family, this plant is usually found in moist habitats such as riverbanks and meadows, but can tolerate drier garden conditions. Most of the leaves form a basal clump which send up pom pom-like flowers on tall stalks. A great choice for butterfly and pollinator gardens! Will reseed.
