The delicate texture of Bleeding Heart belies its vigor and adaptability. Its pendant heart-shaped flowers are raised above finely divided glaucous foliage. Bleeding heart will spread widely with sufficient water, but can handle summer drought in cool shady places. Winter deciduous.
