This is one of the largest alumroots with 3 inch evergreen leaves growing in basal clumps that spread
by offsets. The pink tinted flowers densely cover 18 inch spikes. Near the coast adapts to dry shade
or sun with additional water and good drainage. Makes a nice ground cover for large areas.
