Pipevine is named for its interesting pipe-shaped flowers that are green with red lining. It is a
potentially very large vine. Grow it on a sturdy trellis or fence or as a bank cover, where the stems will
take root. Drought tolerant when established, but grows faster with water. This is the host plant for the
pipevine swallowtail butterfly.
